Brad Marchand is a Canadian professional ice hockey left winger and captain of the Boston Bruins. He was born on May 11, 1988, in Hammonds Plains, Nova Scotia. Marchand was drafted by the Bruins in the third round (85th overall) of the 2006 NHL Entry Draft.
Marchand has played his entire NHL career with the Bruins and has helped the team win the Stanley Cup in 2011. He is a three-time NHL All-Star and has won the Lady Byng Trophy twice.
